Privacy notice
Last updated 16 July 2026.
This notice explains what personal data Drive Store collects, why, and what rights you have over it. We are the data controller for the information described here, and can be reached at Branston Court, Branston Street, Birmingham, B18 6BA.
1. What we collect
- Account details — name, email address, phone number, and delivery address.
- Order information — the parts you buy, order value, and delivery/payment details needed to fulfil an order.
- Seller information — business name, Companies House and VAT numbers, and trade address, for businesses applying to sell.
- Usage data — pages you visit and parts you view, used to power features like your watch list and recently viewed items.
2. Why we use it
We use your data to create and manage your account, process orders, communicate with you about purchases and messages from sellers, and to keep the marketplace safe from fraud and abuse. We don't sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Where it's stored
Account, order, and seller data is stored securely on our systems. Some features on this site — like your watch list, saved sellers, and saved searches — are stored only in your browser and are never sent to us; see our Cookie policy for detail on that.
4. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can update most of your details yourself from Account settings, including deleting your account entirely.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards where we're required to for accounting or legal reasons. Deleting your account removes the rest.
